Spike Brooks is a writer, performer, and metalhead rockstar, shaping Plymouth’s cultural scene with energy and imagination.
A key member of Funky Llama, he MCs events across the city, from festivals to club nights, always centring inclusivity and connection. His one-man show, ‘Stuck on Chapter One’, premiered at Theatre Royal Plymouth in 2023 and is now available across podcast platforms, offering a powerful insight into the autistic experience.
Spike also collaborates with Extraordinary Bodies and Diverse City as he develops a multimedia franchise based on his original storytelling. His work celebrates neurodivergent creativity, alternative worlds and authentic self-expression.
